Good morning hive family, trust you all are doing well, happy new month and welcome to the month of February.
Here today I will show you how I Cut And Sew A straight bubu gown in a very simple way.
To make this gown, here I have my Ankara material, lining, zip, baby lace and my shining baryas.
First thing to do, I measure out my length from the full wrapper and cut it out, then I fold it by two, measure out my shape and the size I want to use, my shoulder by seven inches, hand pit length by eight inches and cut it out, then I measure out my neck length by six inches and the width by four inches, then I cut it out, after that I place the first one I cut on the other side of it to cut out the back and given it a two inches allowance for my zip, and the neck length for the back is by two inches and the width by five inches.
I proceeded to cut my hand using both the Ankara and the baby lace material, the Ankara by eight inches and the lace by six inches.
I proceeded to cut my baby lace which I will be using for the neck.
After that I cut out my lining for each part that is needed.
I then fix my baby lace on the front and sew it, and place my shining baryas also on it and follow it up.
And I also do same for the hand.
After that I proceed to fix my lining, iron it then I join everything together and here is the out come.
Thank you for stopping by to check my post, do have a lovely weekend.🥰
