Hello Food lovers!
I'm gonna show you our dish last night.I cooked 'DINENGDENG WITH SARDINES'.
To those who doesn't know,Dinengdeng is one of a famous dish of Ilocano people here in Philippines.When you come to visit here they will serve you this especially when you visit in Provinces cause they have the ingredients you need and can be found at there home only.Not all but some.😊
Filipinos are known as a hard working people.They can plant veggies at there farms and they will patiently take care of it.
Here are the ingredients and the vegestables:
The PEPPERS:
THE EGGPLANT:
THE SPONGE GOURD OR PATOLA IN TAGALOG:
I add garlic and tomato
And the SARDINES
First I did I boiled the water and put the sardines,tomato and garlic first.Next,After 5 minutes I add the eggplant and salt. I waited untill the eggplant will slighthy cooked. Then,I add the Pepper and the sponge gourd or patola.
After some minutes it's already cooked.Sorry it's a bit blurd cause my phone is full storage I did'nt take another shot of it last night.
