Hello everybody!! Sadly we reached the last week of competition in SIC.
I can say I enjoyed a lot cooking for the contest, even though I’ve been away for a few weeks, I saw the contest grow from the beginnig and I know can be proud of it, becouse it’s been a total success.
Thank you becouse I had to push my creativity, and I made things I’ve never done before. I learned and experimented, so I’m glad I decided to participate and took it seriously.
The level of some of you is unveliavable, and I’m proud of myself cooking very above my humble abilities.
Thanks to everyone for showing us such an amazing dishes.
The good part of this finaly, is that we are ready for the next season, and waiting to see what can you bring us.
So I present here my last dish, I know is not my masterpiece, and I woud’ve love to made something much better, but time is limited and on this dates I haven’t had a lot to dedicate to this last dish.
But, on the other side, I can say it was delicious. Very good dinner last night.
Here is the pizzagne (half pizza, half lassagne)
I took 4 of the listed ingredients, (tomato, onion, aubergine and mushrooms) and put them togheter in a delicious way.
Instead of pizza dough or lasagne pasta, I used filo pastry to make a layer by layer pizza filled with some fried tomato,mozzarella cheese and vegetables.
After 20 minutes in the oven, it was ready to eat.
I can say its a good way to eat vegetables!!
