I've come to learn something important, and that is "I'VE NOT LEARNT IT ALL"
many people on steemit are always waiting for the big whale upvote, or waiting for Hive account@blocktrades to blow them away with maybe $70 upvote. However, the chances of these to happen are not certain, nothing is certain,
the focus on whale power or getting in on Hive account@acidyo curation trail, makes people blind to the bigger picture.
People are often too blind to see the people trying to be friends with them, that they fail to notice the meagre 0.5 cent they always get from a user who curates them everytime.
0.5 CENT IN TEN PLACES EQUALS HALF A DOLLAR.
Don't get me wrong, im not saying you can't chase a whale, just that you should foster friendship, with even those that gives you 0.5 cent, get to know them, support them, chat with them, that will make them bank on you as a friend, and they will have your back for life.
A O.5 CENT USER MAY BECOME A FUTURE WHALE.
This is what people do not know, personally i like Hive account@nairadaddy and Hive account@bania, if they want a pint of my blood for any thing, i will certainly do that, now why is this?
The first is consider them indispensable, and mind you, they aren't whale, however they will be, and the fact about this is that they relationship i had with them, will never change, whether they are whales aeroplanes, or private jets.

You see i made my first $3 courtesy of Hive account@oluwoleolaide, yes i know you will say it's nearly nothing, but prior to then i was getting nothing, it meant the world to me i jumped on my sofa, touched my ceiling, took a glass of juice and smiled like a goat, why shouldn't i? I made fucking $3.
Hive account@erikaharris was a user i never knew, she popped up twice, upvoting my post,the third came too and you know what? It wasn't $5, it was 0.9 cent upvote, i was elated, i got to see her posts and when she asked me to help her with her C.E.O project, i did with glee, if she still needs my help, i will be glad and happy that somebody deemed me worthy enough to ask for something.
SOME PEOPLE LOVES YOU, SHOW THEM YOU CAN KILL FOR THEM.
Hive account@d-pend a very fantastic writer, gives me a 0.20 Cent upvote, most times i post, prior to now, i get mesmerised reading his poem, i just comment and coment, and he's today he is like that poet alibi i never had.
FRIENDSHIP + TIME = WHALESHIP.
Making a dozen good friends who are not anything is like an investment for the future, one day you will post and you will get that dream $100, why? You made the right friends who were once nobody, and two you wrote good contents, having it all on steemit is hard, thats why you water your crop, tend, tend and wait patiently for harvest time.
My own definitiob of steemit growth is friendship plus time, now this is not a tutorial, neither is it a class, its my opinion, to many their definition is different however in whatever we do we need to remember that here is a community not a formulae one race competition, thank you for reading.
