Some of you might have noticed my witness node was down for the better part of a week. I had an error resulting from the shared_memory files exceeding 16GB for the first time. This could not have come at a worst time since I was realy busy testing the Sirius code and getting ready for launch.
As soon as I had free time to deal with the issue, the witness node was fixed and back online signing blocks. This was not all bad, as this goes to show how fast the steem chain is growing and the number of users signing up, the growth is tremendous.
I am a backup witness and I do not need to remind you of the importance of backup witnesses.
