I've been on Steemit for 18 days now and I must say that I'm enjoying it for what it is and am excited about the future potential for this online community. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has started following me, reading my posts, upvoting them and resteeming them. And....I'm pretty sure that I messed up my first introduce myself post....so here goes....

So yes....my name is Joe. Or Joseph. And I really like the movie 'Joe Versus The Volcano' (1990)
Ever since I was a kid, I'd wanted to be a famous movie director like Stanley Kubrick (my favorite director). But over the years of working in film/tv I'd realized that....I'm much better at producing and editing than directing. And....having an EGO the size of the MOON and feeling the need to work towards becoming an uber famous director was no longer appealing to me. Therefore, I work in film/tv when I can, along with doing various side jobs and maintaining my priorities of a good life with plenty of time for friends & family.

That's my girlfriend 
And that's my grandfather. Simple dude. Cool guy. WW2 Veteran. And he was driving until a few days before his 100th birthday. Gotta give him credit for that. He's 101 now.
People have called me weird and a loner my whole life. But ya know what....I actually think I'm a pretty normal guy. And I'm happy to be weird and a loner too.

Eventually....I'd really like to become a film teacher in high school or in college. My folks were teachers and I'd never wanted to do that....now I do. Ha! Go figure right.
