⛵ ⛵ ⛵ ⛵...(Tour of "High Island")...Continued...
[Last time...]
“Sixty-six hundred ounces of silvers can buy a lot of Sable fur coats!” Commander Kerrislravenhill said as she watched the captain stroke his beard in deep thought.
“Wussatt?” He answered absently.
“I was just saying that the Seneca could buy a lot of fur for sixty-six hundred ounces of shiny…”
“Hmmm…och, aye, seems they could...” The Captain replied, but it was obvious that he was on edge and his mind…somewhere out there... in the darkness.

[On the Silverton…mid-evening…]
“Tar hail!” Standing Officer-Boatswain Trumpman called out from the forecastle, ”Longboat coming in! !pimp!”
A rush of sailors scaled the short stairwell to the forecastle deck and held up lanterns to light the waters…
“Good evening!” Standing Officer Trayan yelled back out from the upstream darkness.
Trumpman quickly turned to Able Seaman Kamilla19, “Quickly mate, go down and notify the Keptin!”
“Aye, aye Sairrr!”
The ship came alive as word spread that the crew was returning…
”Oh boy!” Able Seaman Pocketechange exclaimed as he ran for the forecastle deck with Able Seaman Geneeverett.
”Coming in on the portside!” The familiar voice of Commander Galligan rang out from the darkness.
“Get the ratline down on the portside, on the double! !pimp!” Trumpman ordered as he leaned out over the rail and tried to make out the image of the incoming boat.
[On the longboat…]
“Things take turns that make me think problems will be a daily occurrence!” Warrant Officer Lupega whispered to Cockpit Mate Bitcoinman, “It seems diplomacy is not Chief Seneca's strong suit. I suppose the captain has a plan in mind, but for now we can't do much.”
“As long as we’re getting paid mate, as long as we’re getting paid!” Bitcoinman replied as he pulled on his oar.
‘That may be…’ °°°° Lupega thought to himself, ‘But Lieutenant Bleujay is in serious trouble! How will the Keptin take the news?” °°°°
As the longboat finally beat against the tall portside hull of the Silverton, Galligan ordered the men up the ratline as he secured the boat with a line.
As the first of the crew scaled the rail, the Captain and Commander Kerrislravenhill walked over to greet them…
“Blimey, Ahh thought ye woolds be back afair dark!” The Keptin said with good cheer as he extended a hand to Lupega while the rest of the crew pulled Trayan, Bitcoinman and Galligan safely onto the deck.
Suddenly the Captain wrinkled his brow…
”Whaur’s th’ Lieutenant?”
Galligan straightened himself and took a deep breath…
“They’ve got her…”
