Ladies, this is essentially a question to you..
(But then again, maybe gentlemen do it too. Either way, do let me know, I'm curious.)
I was wondering.. Here's the deal. Today at work one of my lady colleagues complemented the looks of another lady colleague that was struggling with her health this whole week and asked if the fact that she was so well put together today meant that she was starting to feel any better.
To this, the lady in question, reluctantly, but honestly replied that in fact it was quite the opposite. That she was actually compensating for feeling so awfully physically.
At which point I had to chime in with - I know the feel!
Do you?
Do you also put more effort in looking your best when you physically feel your worst? I, in my own terms, call this phenomenon Cabin-Crewing-Up, because with a uniform (or a well-fitting dress that may resemble one), proper grooming and chipper attitude one can easily pass as someone quite healthy, on top of their game and most definitely not in dreadful pain.
That is - until you pass a cup of coffee to the pax and see in their eyes a painfully concerned look that without any words clearly communicates - stop torturing yourself - as you're about to faint..
