Today I really wanted to have lentils for lunch so here I share this easy, economical and quick preparation.
Step by step
Fry an onion, two tomatoes and three cloves of garlic. All this chopped. After a few minutes add a few stalks of chopped cilantro.
Spices are added to taste. In this case: paprika, turmeric, pepper, cumin and salt.
Then add half a cup of water and leave it for approximately four minutes over medium-low heat and then blend it.
What has just been liquefied is placed over low heat with half a pound of previously washed lentils. Add four cups of water
A few cimarron leaves are added for flavor.
After a good cooking time they are ready!
