Elephants are a mammal and considered the largest animal on earth. They have long trunks, big floppy ears, and thick legs. They grow 2.5 to 4 meters and weigh 2,268 to 6,350 kilograms and eat mostly from fruits and grasses.
Male Elephants are called bulls while females are called cows and baby elephants are calf. They go in groups or herd and led by a matriarch, the oldest female.
I call them the gentle giants, the giants with a heart. I have seen a number of videos about how they help their offsprings when stuck in a mud. They also grieve when one of their own dies. They take care of the calf even not their own if their own mother dies. That's how kind and beautiful and loving elephants are.
