THE FIRST MEET AND GREET STEEMIT PHILIPPINES IN UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

    After weeks of preparation, the meet and greet initiated by Hive account@arrliinn, Hive account@kennyroy and pingcess has finally arrived. Hive account@kennyroy expected a maximum of 30 people but it was more than 30 steemians attended the event. And it was only from Abu Dhabi. There are other steemians who are in different parts of UAE that didn’t attend because of the distance from the event.

    Towing my husband Hive account@ardapyan, sister Hive account@marieeugene and my little one Arjei with me who the latter enjoyed the event very much running around the area, we were greeted by Hive account@pingcess at the entrance of the venue. It was my first time meeting her and just knew her by her account name. She gave us this name tag so we would be able to know everyone through their account names. I saw Hive account@arrliinn already giving an introduction about steemit.

Searching for my friends, I saw Hive account@marizen with Hive account@erelasblogs and their other friend seated on the front. So I never bothered to go to them so I would not disturb anyone.

    Scanning for some more familiar account names, Hive account@lifediaries2nd, Hive account@appleskie caught my eyes. The 4 of us talked a little about boosters and shared information regarding the positive uses of it. Even the steemians kids were enjoying the “play area” they got while their parents were listening to the speaker.

    An hour past and our tummies were already growling, Hive account@arrliinn told us to serve ourselves with food that was already in the table. Some of the foods are sweet and sour fish, dynamite chicken, pancit, lumpia and leche flan for dessert. After eating, the lecture resumed and it was Hive account@kennyroy’s turn to explain the steem power, wallet, and savings.

    The meet and greet ended very well. Of course, it won't be complete without the group photo. I am very positive that after this event, UAE steemians will be stronger and bigger. It is really different when you meet people personally and thanking everyone for meeting them today. You rock guys!!
