Truly, looks can be be deceiving. Most times we judge people by the way the look upon seeing them not knowing that looks can be deceiving tho.. Here's my story of how I misjudged someone through looks. Keep reading;

I remember meeting a course mate during my first year in university. She walked into class late, headphones on, barely greeting anyone. She looked proud and unapproachable. I quickly concluded in my mind, “This one is definitely rude oo." So, I kept my distance. Weeks later, we were placed in the same group for an assignment. I wasn’t happy about it at all. But as we started working, I noticed something surprising. She was the most organized person in the group. She created a schedule, divided tasks fairly, and even stayed up late to help others understand difficult parts.*
One cool evening, while we were working together, she opened up to me about why she always seemed and keps distant to people. She told me tht she has social anxiety and used her headphones to calm herself before entering crowded spaces. At that moment, my spirit became humble. I just realized thqt I had judged her confidence as being rude and arrogance, and her quietness as pride. Currently, we are best of friends.😊 when we miss each other, we will talk on video call😂 Then, I understanded the fact that in reality, she was very thoughtful, hardworking, and kind. My experience with her taught me something important in life. i now understand the fact that first impressions are often incomplete stories. People are usually fighting battles we can’t see. Now, I try to observe more and judge less.
