For this SunThursday I chose the photo of the sunset from the neighborhood where I live, that for several times I have already told the story of him here for you that is the Residential Muribeca (District in the metropolitan area of Recife, Brazil). If you do not remember or know the history I have lived in this neighborhood for more than 24 years (since my 6 years of age) and here lived 2,200 families living in the 69 buildings of this residential. 15 years ago state agents expelled people from their apartments on the grounds that the buildings were at risk of collapsing.
15 years passed, no building collapsed and this neighborhood had its population decreased by 90% and is now considered an abandoned neighborhood. It looks like a movie or serials scenario of science fiction etc. I still live here in a part where a community was built and it is sad to see how this place that I lived my childhood and adolescence abandoned.
This place is one of the great proofs of how the state can destroy people's lives and peace.
I Hope You Enjoyed😃📷
