Soria is a relatively small province and according to the Sorians themselves, what happens to Teruel, which does not seem to exist. But the Sorians, in addition to feeling just as discriminated against as the Teruelians, are also proud of living in a land that, although small, as we have said, has, nevertheless, enough natural, historical and cultural attractions to surprise the more demanding of travelers.
One of them, is located less than six kilometers from a historic town, Calatañazor, where the singing says that Almanzor, the great Muslim caudillo, lost his good luck or 'atambor' and where the great Orson Welles, in view of his aspect clearly medieval, filmed a film, which today is a reference: Chimes at midnight.
The Fuentona or the Eye of the Fuentona, is the name with which it is popularly known at the source of the Abión River and constitutes a natural space, of first magnitude. Its waters, although crystalline when they leave the placenta of the eye, have, while they remain in it, a blue-emerald color, which makes the researchers suspect their connection with the sea. In fact, an amazing gallery of tunnels is known, barely explored, that although impracticable due to their narrowness in some sections, due to their characteristics, they could pass perfectly through that Underworld or Hades, spoken by the ancient Greek-Latin civilizations.
