All i could think of with the new prompt in the latest Wild Plot Wednesday#16 is Looking back, the character from Alice Academy Mikan Sakura she seemed pretty useless at first. also In the early episodes, when her powers hadn’t shown up yet, I was kind of annoyed, like, why was she even accepted into the academy? She got bullied a lot too. Then later, they revealed her power as the Nullification Alice, meaning she couldn’t be affected by any alice powers thrown at her. But honestly, I still think it’s weak—sure, she can’t be harmed by powers, but what about a physical fight? or a gun fight? She can’t just keep running, but since she’s the main character, plot armor is her shield.
So why did I think she was overpowered? Well, in the manga, she has two more powers that weren’t even shown in the anime, these powers are inserting Alice and stealing Alice. Just based on those, she’s already OP in my opinion. I really wish there was a season 2 of this anime to justify her character and show that there’s more to her abilities than just nullification alice.
i think the anime has potential, I wish for it to be recreated in the future and I wish they will stick to the mangas storyline too.
