It has been interesting to watch Hive grow, particularly for us that have invested time into building ourselves on the platform. The hives ecosystem was a powerful one, and when I joined, I didn't quite get that. To begin with, it was just a location where individuals share posts, communicate with each other, and get rewarded. As time went on, however, I realized that Hive is more than a blogging site. It’s an expanding community, blockchain system, and a chance for individuals across the globe to showcase and be compensated for their creativity and consistency.
That excites me a lot to think that Hive may reach $1. I think it is a huge accomplishment by investors as well as content creators, content curators, developers and regular users who have been with the platform through tough times. The crypto market is known to have high volatility – especially over the years, so it would be great to see Hive reaching $1 would be considered as a reward for the patience and belief in the ecosystem.
If HIVE hits $1, I'm sure I'll be excited and thankful. I would feel well pleased since that would show that it is possible to gain from consistency and patience. Even when rewards were low and the market was not favourable, many people participating in the hive have remained active. If they could reach $1, it would indicate that the platform is gaining momentum and becoming more popular. I'd probably be really proud of myself with friends on Hive as it would be a victory for the community.
But I would not take emotional decisions right after the price of Hive crosses $1. I would consider what the future will be like rather than selling all my Hive tokens. Personally, I'd prefer to keep and start up a big part of my Hive. The good thing about that is I think that Hive could still become larger than $1 in the future. It can also be beneficial to hold onto to assets longer than you would like in case their value rises and you end up regretting the decision.
The other thing I would do is just to want to expand my reach on the platform is another reason that I would turn on my Hive. The more Hive Power you have, the more voting power you have and the more creators you are able to support. I love one thing about Hive – this is the sense of community help that is encouraged by community members in the form of engagement and curation. I would have more power to help quality content creators, and to help the ecosystem in a positive way with more Hive Power.
Even if I had all my hives, I might want to sell a few if it was for an important personal goal. For instance, I may invest some of the proceeds into enhancing my writing tools. Improved tools like a better phone, laptop, internet speed or editing software would help me produce better posts and increase my growth rate on this site. I believe some of the funds should also be preserved or invested in other fruitful endeavors that don't involve crypto, as finance knowledge is important as well.
In the event that Hive gets to $1, it would impact my lifestyle and mindset a lot of ways. It would get me to be more active and consistent on the platform! In the bear market, some individuals may lose their motivation because they see the rewards diminishing and growth is slow. However, if the price of Hive is higher, users will know the consistency will yield results. This would make more people see the potential in content creation and stay dedicated to developing their accounts.
Another critical aspect is that many new users might join Hive if it were a $1 Hive. More people will want to join when they see creators receiving valuable compensation for their hard work and creativity. This development might add new concepts, more communities and involvement to Hive. I think this would help both old and new users, as the ecosystem gets more robust with more active users.
I am also very confident that in the future, Hive can go beyond $1. The crypto sector is rapidly evolving and some projects that were initially underrated then successfully launched due to their strong community and long-term development. There are some very useful capabilities of Hive that distinguish it from many other platforms out there. There are also active and supportive communities on Hive and transactions are fast and users retain control over their content.
Hive is one place that can be the deciding factor in its growth beyond $1 is the community itself. I believe the Hive community is one of the best aspects of the ecosystem. Individuals inspire each other, help set up contests, help new players join, support good content, etc. and help beginners develop. Communities such as IndiaUnited are key to engaging and motivating users. Many people would probably get bored if they didn't have strong communities.
The developers and project builders on Hive, too, are to be credited with their efforts, since they are continuing to improve the Hive ecosystem. The more investors and creators the bigger the platform can grow in the future, as long as innovations keep happening and more useful projects continue to be created on Hive. Hive is at the heart of two booming industries: social media and blockchain.
To wrap up, $1 is a tremendous sell-through that would be exciting, hope-inspiring and motivating to the whole ecosystem. That is, I would keep and maintain my Hive in most cases, as I think the platform has a bright future. I would also invest from a portion of the rewards in a beneficial way to enhance my life and my content creation path. Most of all, I think that Hive has a future – as long as the community works together, supports each other, and remains consistent. $1 could just be the first step to something much greater for Hive.
