Buying an artwork from an artist is like helping them to achieve their dreams.
Pin this to your mind while buying an artwork from an artist.
I am an artist that spends more than half of my day making drawings, commissions or requests for my clients and friends. My blood, sweat, and dedication are being put into a single artwork. But I do this not just for a living, I do this to express myself and to be myself.
Art is my bestfriend and my one and only dream is to become a successful artist. 😁😍
This artwork is just one my favorite artwork. Although I did not sold it when there are so many people wants to buy it.
"Why I did not sold it? "
This artwork means a lot for me and that's why I did not sold it, this is an artwork that I put everything I had, just to finish it. I spent more than 14 hours working on this artwork.
"But why is it so long?"
I seriously work on this artwork because I want to check if I have improved my skills for months of practicing, I do not want to be praised for my artwork, I just want to know if I am good enough to be an artist.
These are some of my process:
After finishing this artwork, I feel like anytime I would collapse, I literally fell asleep after making the portrait. And when I woke up, I posted it on facebook and many people are messaging me if they can buy the artwork, some offered 2,000.00 pesos, and some offered 1,000.00 pesos. My one and only reply is a big "NO".
"Why I rejected them?"
I did this artwork for myslef, to reflect myself. I do not want it to be taken by anyone just because of the money, I treasure this art and that's why I can't sell it. I think finishing this artwork is like achieving my own dream, and that means a lot to me.
"EXPRESS, NOT TO IMPRESS",
JUST BE YOURSELF
