Hello Steemit friends! Here's my menu for lunch. In our dialect, we call it guso (with the stress on the second syllable). It is not at all costly. In fact, we bought one plastic of it for only 15 pesos.
This is how I prepared it. You can follow it if you want to or make your own. (lol):
- Clean the seaweed with fresh water. Set aside.
- Boil at least 2 to 3 cups of water.
- While waiting for the water to boil, slice the onions, shallots or green onions, and tomatoes.
- Take out the boiling water from the heat. Immerse the seaweed to the boiled water for quite sometime, around 2 to 3 minutes will do.
- Put the seaweed in a serving bowl. Add vinegar, onions, shallots or green onions, tomatoes.
- Add salt to taste. Then mix it well and serve.
