Hello crafters,
Last day of July I was surprised by my last born personal message to me. "Mommy, I want to crochet." Me: "Miracle, how many years I told you to crochet but you just pout your lips. Anyway the important is today you are interested already. May I know what will be your your 1st project?" Daughter: "A beanie for my son, guide me pls how to make."
"Okey, okey"...happy me my daughter is interested to crochet...in her own time, is true! That night and until now, I mentored her how to make the boy beanie, through messenger plus she viewed my YouTube Channel,Jurich Vlog, how to make the magic ring. She perfectly finished the beanie in two days and posted in her FB timeline. She was proud, excited, happy because she got two orders right away!
Her 3rd beanie made, Reagae Beanie...
Her 2nd beanie made, Messy Bun Ponytail worn by the customer...
Her 1st ever beanie made for her lovable son...
Our convo that surprised me...
I ordered the yarns she could use to support her new endeavor.
My own crochet project like the copying nature, this time the Hibiscus, was stopped.
I will continue my wips, after my daughter knew many stitches. My time spent replying her with short video on how to execute the stitches.
Grateful much she is already interested to learn. Here 's the story behind why she detested my crocheting. When she was in her Kinder 1 her first year in school, I had a craft store at the Public Market. Before I opened I let her in, in her classroom then I fetched her at lunch time then back in the afternoon fetched here about 4pm. One day I was busy mentoring mothers how to make crocheted bags, I forgot the time, ho, my! my! it was past 5 pm I hurried to the school, she was still there inside the room crying. After that incident she quit school. Thankful the following year she enrolled, I promised to feched her on time.
This afternoon she showed me the video and picture her supportive partner in life made her a yarn caddy!
Whoa! She's a lucky crochet beginner.
Thanks for dropping by...
