Memories of Christmas Past | An Alien Art CHRISTMAS

Hello Alien Art Hive Community and Merry Christmas. I wanted to celebrate this event by creating three holiday projects especially for the Community.

Christmas #1: Portrait Of A North Pole Romance

Everyone knows that the name "Santa Claus" wasn't always so. A humble young man, Kris Kringle was a modest toy maker. His dream was to make toys of all kinds for all the children. He'd heard of the suffering children around the world endured. He wanted to bring a bit of happiness into their lives.

Of course, he knew this was unrealistic in his present backroom space. But his desire never waned. His most endearing quality was that he was hopelessly in love with his high school sweetheart, Jessica. Both were caring and giving individuals from a young age.

Kris proposed to Jessica, and she accepted. But where would they live and how would they be successful? Jessica urged Kris to approach the local bank for a loan to start his business.

Of course, the bank refused with no collateral to secure the loan.

Jessica wouldn't give up. She called in her favors from family and friends.

What the couple lacked in resources, they made up in good fortune. With Jessica's help, their desires spread across the region. Neighbors were also from humble beginnings. But that didn't stop them from pooling their funds to help make Kris and Jennifer's dream come true.

With his small savings and the community's help, Kris used all the money to purchase a modest shop.

With his new outlook, he changed his name to "SANTA KLAUS". Next, he changed his workroom to "SANTA'S WORKSHOP.

The rest is history.

P.S. But you ask, "how to get the toys to the children? All the funds were spent on the shop and supplies to produce the toys."

Well, that's for another story.

CHRISTMAS #2: An Alien Christmas

Belezia heard rumor of a place in the galaxy where white powder blanketed the landscape. She'd never seen white powder. How did it look and feel? Curious, she set out to find this place called Earth.

She never imagined the sights and sounds she'd encounter as the portal opened up. Heat soon cooled her forehead.

"Should I dare enter this place of coldness," she asked herself. She couldn't resist. Placing her hand through the opening, she scooped up a handful of snow and tasted it.

She smiled.
