Our area experienced heavy downpours this month. Extremely dangerous situations residents were caught in. Although weather reports warn to stay vigilant, many take unnecessary risks believing they can navigate the waters safely. Unwise decisions on their part, especially since one can't gauge water depths after dark.
I was thinking about last week's flood event before I noticed this week's ZAPFIC Monday challenge prompt "shower". I hope you like my related story. The ZAPFICMonday challenge was created by

"I'm biophobic," I reminded Alan.
His coaxing won. When I agreed to the trip, immediately regret attacked.
It was my first time. Clueless.
He took charge.
Awed, I stared at the limitless stretch of stars.
A blanket lifted, allowing the deluge.
Este mes hemos tenido fuertes aguaceros en nuestra zona. Los vecinos se han visto envueltos en situaciones extremadamente peligrosas.
