The first time I was ever laid off from work (around 2004), I got depressed and searched the internet for support groups. Didn't quite find that, but what I found helped get me through the tough time through comedy. I found Odd Todd. Back then the website was alive and kicking with visitors anxiously awaiting the next "Laid Off" toon or any cartoon about our unemployed protagonist Odd Todd. We fell in love with his imaginary friends Mep & Elf-Up. The creator of the cartoons, Todd Rosenberg, has since moved on to bigger things and had left the Laid Off toons in the past. Shame. Well, here's a tribute video I made for Odd Todd a year and a half ago.
