I believe that one more reason to travel to the North would be The Northern Lights! Right?
Who wouldn't like to see such a beauty in the sky?
There are many places and countries where you can observe it and it happen to me that I saw this beauty in Finland.
After few days of arriving here we ran outside to see The Northern Lights!
Guess what! Yes, we saw it!
But...
It was hardly visible and looked like a transparent white cloud...
But!
That didn't stopped us of jumping around and hugging from happiness that we just saw The Norther Lights here!
After being a little bit patient, time came for Aurora Hunting. Driving a little bit more in the North to some secret places that without a local guide would be hard to find. We stopped near the bridge which goes above Paatsjoki river. River which doesn't get frozen in the winter no matter how cold it will get. It's very nice and open area so you can see huge part of sky. In the day time you can see territory of Russia cause it's just few kilometers away.
Just a couple moments later performance in the sky were starting. In fact, guides told us that it's one of the most beautiful and active Northern Lights they had seen!
It was breathtaking moment! You see like an empty linen of the sky is painted with a bright green and purple colors.
Uuuuh! It makes me take a deep breath again when I remember it!
I tried to catch it and I did it!
My first try! I know it's not perfect or enough professional!
But...
I LOVE IT!
...and for me it's perfect because it will remind me the most beautiful night that no camera can capture it!
Sometimes is more important to enjoy and feel the moment!
On another hunt I got the most beautiful gift that photographer can get.
A photograph together with Northern Light!
Thanks to my friend photographer I could go to another side of camera and take Northern lights to my embrace!
It was another wonderful and memorable night!
