Electricity has been a really great deal over here in Nigeria. I mean there are alot of areas who haven't been supplied with electricity for about 2 years which I guess would be a great issue for those living in those places as some would have to constantly make use of their generators to be supplied with electricity which would cost them alot of money ,some will make use of lanterns most especially in the night, there won't be constrution of industries in such areas . This would lead to alot of delayed jobs and work and there will surely be alot of migration out of the area over time.
Electricity is very important to everyone. You need it in your everyday day life, for your work, for cooking, for pleasure amd comfort and in other areas . Infact, I won't be here posting on hive if it wasn't for the supply of electricity because my phone will be dead and I won't be able to use it to publish my post. Even when they don't supply us with electricity for a whole day, and they supply us the next day we are always excited and you will see people living nearby shouting and screaming loudly saying "Up Nepa" which is the term used in Nigeria when there is electricity supply. That was just for a day now imagine when they dont supply us with electricity for alot of weeks and they now did. This means electricity is very essential and important to everyone and lack of electricity is a very big deal , which needs to be talked about more in my country Nigeria. I just got back home from school on holiday, and my sister told me there wasn't supply of electricity for a week in our house that she had to go a far distance , pay a certain amount of money to be able charge her mobile phone in a shop which is something that is very sad and painful to hear.
Electricity is needed to power hospitals, schools, industries which drives economic activity. It enhances living standards and comfort . It also enables ecommunication technologies such as phones, internet, and broadcasting which are vital for global connectivity. It is something we can't live or do without.
Not just me, i don't think anyone anywhere in the world can survive without using electricity.
