2017 is about to come to a close, and one of the biggest things to have happened to me this year was discovering Steemit and cryptocurrencies.

And my Steemit journey would certainly be incomplete without the mention of @OCD, a dynamic group of great curators led my curator extraordinaire @Acidyo.

@OCD has become an integral part of the steemit ecosystem - we curators get a chance to not only support the newbies trying to gain a footing on Steemit, but we also help the veterans who might still be churning out undervalued and underappreciated gems.

From the very beginning, I knew @OCD was going to make an impact, because when the intent of an initiative is to give back to the community, it is bound to succeed.

We've only grown since then, and have had several interesting milestones in this past year - @OCD went international, we introduced #ocd-resteem and we hope to do many more exciting things in the coming new year.

Being part of the @OCD crew has been a great ride, it's fun interacting, learning and growing together with a diverse group of individuals that form the heart and soul of @OCD. I would like to thank @Acidyo for bringing this idea to life. And a special shutout to all the supporters of @OCD for helping it make a positive impact on Steemiverse.

We need to continue to work together as a community, and support each other as we grow and move forward. I had highlighted the art to discover hidden pearls in my post Steemit Is An Ocean Full Of Talent, and it is the need of the hour to support and encourage talented creators as well as curators.

A few of the above mentioned authors might have vanished over the course of their short steemit journey. However I'm also glad to find that many are still active and continue to believe in the steemit dream! And some have even gone on to do greater things that helps grow our awesome steemit community!
