OCD is a group of twenty (20) curators led by curation master Hive account@acidyo.

Our purpose:

We navigate the lengths and breadths of Steemit to discover some amazing gems and provide those undervalued and underappreciated gems a platform to shine.

All curators submit their nominations for a particular day, and the top six (6) picks selected by the curators through a voting process make it to the Hive account@ocd's daily issue. The submitted nominations also receive a noticeable bump in their earnings via a vote from our curator master Hive account@acidyo.

It's nice to be part of an amazing team of curators who share the similar intent to help incredible authors. And it definitely feels wonderful to be able to give back to the Steemit community in a way which can encourage others to follow suit.

The aim of this Weekly OCD Wrapup is to highlight the seven gems I discovered and nominated the previous week:

• The featured authors would be rewarded SBD generated from this post.
• If I'm able to generate enough SBDs through this post, I would up the stakes and give away some SBD to up and coming authors I haven't been able to nominate, but whose posts are undervalued and underappreciated.

My first nomination is one of the chapters from an ongoing Steemit special comic. This action/adventure story set in Paris is a quick and fun read, and do tune to the author's talented work for more amazing chapters.

2) Chalk Festival Time-Lapse Video of Marilyn Monroe Portrait by Hive account@christiesnelson

My second nomination for the week is a fantastic artwork by a very gifted artist. Five (5) hours of dedication resulted in the creation of this masterpiece, and there is a time lapse video too for your viewing pleasure.

3) Futurtopia#6 -🚀 How will we colonize on Mars? 🚀 👨‍🚀👩‍🚀 by Hive account@digitalcosmos555

This elaborate and epic blog about colonizing Mars is my third nomination. The author put in a lot of effort and research into the post, and it is a very interesting read.

4) The Hottest Place on Earth by Hive account@john-gpr

My fourth nomination takes us on a unique bike trip in extreme weather conditions with the temperature rising above 100 degrees. Filled with great photos and detailed info, this is a wonderful travelogue.

My fifth nomination is a visit to a magnificent site called 'Lower Antelope Canyon'. The author's enthusiasm and the lovely pictures make this a delightful read.

My sixth nomination for Hive account@ocd is a fantastic piece of art by a talented artist who uses markers to create amazing art. The work is detailed, realistic and spectacular.

7) Today I took the money raised to Angie Barlow's family by Hive account@tecnosgirl

My final nomination for week two (2) of Hive account@ocd is a moving piece of content that shows there are several generous and kind people in this world. In this blog, the author narrates her efforts in raising money to financially help the parents of a girl who was murdered. She intends to do more to help the family.
