Halo Steemian's, long time no see. It's been a week I did not give any posts, even so I'm still living the profession as an insect photographer.
Although busy doing my other work, I always try to take time to hunt various types of insects in my area, North Aceh.
And... today I want to show you one of the types of butterflies I found a few days ago. I do not know the scientificname of the butterfly that I found this, it is because my knowledge of butterflies is still very less. Butterflies are insects in the macrolepidopteran clade Rhopalocera from the order Lepidoptera, which also includes moths.
I see this butterfly is unique, the uniqueness is on the back end of its wings, at first glance it looks like a tail or like an antenna and legs. When I see this butterfly from afar I am a bit difficult to distinguish his head position.
Update:
- This butterfly belong to the genus Spindasis and is possible Spindasis seliga.
Many thanks tofor information on the classification of this butterfly.
Pictures taken using smartphone camera, Xiaomi Redmi2.
