Before I begin today's ramble, I would just like to bring your attention to something...
✨ is hosting a raffle! You can find it here! ~ 0.5 SBD per ticket, and you could win a 1000SP delegation! There are other delegations available to be won also. All proceeds go towards
's initiative to help our drought-stricken farmers!✨😊😊😊✨

I'm not too sure what I want to write about today, but I felt that a ulog was in order, so here I am... rambling time!
The is hosting a NaNoWriMo Contest which I've raised my hand to join. I have no idea what the story will be and my brain can't think of any characters other than ones I've already created, so... I guess I'm just going to wing it! 😂
Hopefully the prompts will guide me well.
I think the main thing here will be to create a character, and then fling said character into whatever prompt-madness gets dreamed up. Instead of a "Series of Unfortunate Events", we'll have my very own "Series of Random Events"!
Just need to, you know, create that character...
My weekly obsessive-compulsive Vengeance sessions are somewhat going well. Changing everything from passive to active is killing me, but, it's going well! My main issue is, when I first started writing, I imagined myself sitting by a campfire and telling the stories to people. It's taking a lot to get me out of that mindset. I can't be both narrator and character.
I don't find it a problem when writing little things for Steemit. The new things that I write just seem to pop out active, for the most part. But fixing and changing writing I've already done... ugh.
Next Wednesday I deliver Chapter Four and we finally take leave of Lyria, she's had her time in the limelight and now we check in with what's happening on the Skyswept Isles.
I have three "factions" in the story. But after much second-guessing I decided to only portray two of them. I was planning on showcasing the antagonist as well so we could have a better grasp of the story and what's going on behind the scenes and my overall message of "there is no good and there is no evil, it's all about the context of those involved." But decided to leave a bit of mystery and show the relevant bits via sleuthing on the Isles.
Other than writing thingies, we're at the end of the school holidays now and my son goes back to Kindergarten on Monday. Tuesday I have a meeting with the lady I spoke about in my last ULOG, who has by now hopefully spoken to her marketing friend and will give me some basic tips. Tips that I can probably find online by myself, or via other people here who have already done such things. But, either way.
Nothing much going on otherwise. Two months until returns to this hemisphere. Hopefully with the monetary success required of the prospective marriage visa. Back in the day, you could just get married and "voila". I wish it was still those days.
Thanks for reading my giant babble of nothingness. 😊
May you all have a wonderful day. And if it's not wonderful, may it at least be bearable. ❤️

An ancient curse roams Fan’driel and Lyria is the sole survivor of its deathly wake. Borne of a forbidden bloodline, she attempts to build a new life for herself in her Lord’s city without divulging her secret —a magic that serves as both gift and curse— but unable to predict her own fate she finds herself entangled within Fan’driel’s deeper politics, her hand destined to shape the future… for better or for worse.Instead of turning my work into an ebook straight off the bat, I'm serialising it! You can find a new chapter each Wednesday at Kaelci.net and the latest chapter (Chapter Three) is available here on Steemit!
