Here now at Niigata Furusatomura “Hometown Village” (welcome center), and finding some pretty neat “book” bags!
Please don’t steal the Japanese Crested Ibis (Toki)!
A nice bag for holding your Japanese saké.
And another!
Furusatomura is a neat place for Niigata locals and visitors alike, providing Niigata food, crafts, clothing, saké, and more, and hosting prefecture-themed and related events.
Today was my parents’ last full day here in Niigata, so we wanted to make sure they had a chance to see this neat place, and buy some souvenirs for friends and family at home.
If you’re ever in Niigata, be sure to head to Furusatomura in Niigata City. It’s a cool little stop jam-packed with all kinds of Niigata culture. And the best rice in Japan!
