Photo bombin’ Monkey! :)
Every year in September, Uwasekigata Park in Niigata, Japan, becomes home to several wara (rice straw) art installments made after the local rice has been freshly harvested. Art students from Musashino University in Tokyo head up to the rice plains of Niigata, and fashion fantastic creatures at the foot of Mt. Kakuda for visitors old and young to enjoy. Today my son and I made our way out to this year’s wild creations!
We broke the rules a bit a got inside :)
If you’re ever in Niigata in September, be sure to stop by and check it out. You won’t regret it! :)
