Sudah dua kali saya dan istri berputar-putar mengelilingi area pantai UleeLheue. Sore itu pantai UleeLheue memang ramai, bahkan saya tak tau harus parkir dimana karena tak ada tempat kosong di sepanjang pantai. Saya akhirnya menghentikan kendaraan di jembatan UleeLheue. Sejenak kami berdua melihat beberapa orang memancing di jembatan tersebut. Tak jauh dari jembatan, terlihat ramai sekali orang disebuah pantai yang berada di belakang masjid Baiturahim UleeLheue. Karena penasaran, kami pun segera menuju kesana.
It's been twice I and my wife circled around the UleeLheue beach area. That afternoon UleeLheue beach is crowded, even I do not know where I should parking my motorbike because there is no empty space along the beach. Finally I stopped on the UleeLheue bridge. For a moment we saw some people fishing on the bridge. Not far from the bridge, I looks many people on the beach behind the mosque Baiturahim UleeLheue. I and my wife decide to go there.
Menuju lokasi pantai - How to go there
Meski tempat ini sering saya lalui, tapi ini adalah kali pertama saya menuju pantai ini. Jalan menuju pantai ini tepat di samping masjid Baiturahim. Jalan sudah aspal dan mobil pun bisa masuk. Sampai di ujung jalan, kami pun parkir. Baru saya tau bahwa pantai ini bernama Pantai Reusam.
Although I often pass this place, but this is the first time I go to this beach. The road to the beach is right next to the Baiturahim mosque. The road is fit for car. At the end of the road, we find parking area. I just know that this beach named is Reusam Beach.
Reusam Beach - Pantai Reusam
Pantai ini berpasir kehitaman. Saat air laut surut seperti ini pantai jadi sangat luas. Hamparan pasir terbentang seluas mata memandang. Tak heran jika tempat ini ramai. Sebagian besar adalah keluarga. Banyak sekali anak-anak bermain pasir. Tak sedikit juga para pemuda mandi di pantai. Saya dan istri segera turun ke pantai. Kami berjalan menyuri pantai berbaur dengan pengunjung lainnya.
The sand is blackish sandy. When the sea low tide like this, the beach gets very wide. The sand looks covered along the beach. No wonder if this place is crowded, because this place very interested. Most of visitors are families. I look many kids playing the sand and some young men playing on the beach. I and My wife immediately get down to the beach. We walked along the beach like the other visitors.
Local Wisdom - Kearifan Lokal
Setiap daerah, tentu punya kearifan tersendiri. Demikian halnya di Aceh. Kearifan local yang harus kita patuhi dan kita hargai. Demikian halnya di pantai ini.

Every place, has its own wisdom. We must respect and obey local wisdom. This is local wisdom in Reusam Beach.
