Well, it's not a very good news. Yesterday I was a bit upset about this, but then I was thinking if the nervousness was worth it. I remember last November, when Steem was between 0.8 and 1 USD, and i bought my new camera that time. The price was 3-4 times lower than now. I predicted that at the end of December Steem would go up to $ 2, but jumped to a much higher level. If it would even fall back to 1 USD, I wouldn't worry so much. Once higher and once lower, every fall is followed by rise. Complacency and nervousness takes away your creativity and vim, and your bad mood affects others. You are seriously responsible for yourself and your positive or negative emanations.
Never forget that you're here not for money, but to give yourself! Show us what you are, how creative you are, what you can give to the community. You may feel so many times there is nothing to write, nothing to create, or if you create something you do not dare to show it because you are afraid of other people's bad opinion. Look inside yourself! You may have been downgraded in your childhood by your family or your teachers! Experiencing this discomfort again and again, you'll finally realize your past bad events no longer have any effect on you.
There are plenty of positive articles, success stories on Steemit. It's about simple people who do something very well and are happy to share their stories with others. For example this:

Think in the long run, not the short. Until you get 1000 Steem power, do not worry about your wallet, its enough to see it once a week. Invest your SBD-s, buy Steem on the inner market and power them up or use voting bots like Minnowbooster or other bots.
Participate on creative collaborations and challenges, contests. You'll have a lot of fun, but do not want to win! :)))

Communicate with others and make friends. If you have positive feelings, share with people in your article. Encourage them in your meaningful comments, and reply them if they write comments on your posts, but avoid and ignore "nice post", "vote for vote", "vote me please". Teach and learn! If you are not so good in Englis (as me), do not worry, you can find great intelligent translators, or ask someone for some help. Spread LOVE!
Finally: Use your voting power responsibly, select posts that you like the most. Do not vote for someone else's post just because he/she voted for yours. If you have enough Steem power, you can control the percent (1-100%) of your vote.
Self voting is a dilemma sometimes - it is left to your conscience. Sometimes it's good for self-respect, but do not overdo it because it does not work well for the community. Imagine if everyone would vote only their own posts... steemit would die soon!
