Duka is any small shop in Kenya. Everyone can find surprising things in the Duka, like Baobab fruit powder from the Baobab tree. What is a super food with so many benefits that one needs nothing else. 😁 My paper bag is just full of these jars. Plastic bags are of course totally banned in Kenya, and paper bags have made a return – trying to save the planet!! 🌎
As well as the unique super food, everyone pays by Mpesa. This mea no need for cash or credit card. Just a mobile phone that everyone in Kenya uses from the fisherman to the IT expert.
Outside from the shop a friendly cat is waiting. As soon as I made a eye contact, at first one cat appeared and then the identical brothers and sisters appeared all wanting the super food! 🐈
So a new super food, friendly cats and Mpesa all happen at the Duka!

Duka ist jeder kleine Laden in Kenia. Jeder kann im Duka überraschende Dinge finden, wie Baobab-Fruchtpulver vom Baobab-Baum. Das ist eine Supernahrung mit so vielen Vorteilen, dass man nichts anderes braucht. 😁 Meine Papiertüte ist voll von diesen Gläsern. Plastiktüten sind in Kenia natürlich völlig verboten, und Papiertüten haben ihr Comeback gemacht - und versuchen, den Planeten zu retten!🌎
Neben der einzigartigen Supernahrung zahlt jeder mit Mpesa. Dies erfordert weder Bargeld noch Kreditkarte. Nur ein Handy, das jeder in Kenia benutzt, vom Fischer bis zum IT-Experten.
Draußen wartet eine freundliche Katze. Sobald ich einen Blickkontakt hatte, erschien zuerst eine Katze und dann die identischen Geschwister, die alle das Superfutter wollten! 🐈
So gibt es im Duka - ein neues Superfutter, freundliche Katzen und Mpesa!

Duka to każdy mały sklep w Kenii. W Duce można znaleźć zaskakujące rzeczy, jak np. proszek owocowy Baobab z drzewa Baobab. Jest to super jedzenie z tak wieloma zaletami, że nie potrzebujemy niczego więcej. 😁 Moja papierowa torba jest pełna tych słoików. Torby plastikowe są oczywiście całkowicie zakazane w Kenii, a torby papierowe powróciły - próbując ocalić naszą planetę! 🌎
Oprócz wyjątkowego superjedzenia, każdy płaci Mpesa. To nie ma potrzeby posiadania gotówki lub karty kredytowej. Po prostu telefon komórkowy, z którego wszyscy w Kenii korzystają, począwszy od rybaka, a skończywszy na ekspercie IT.
Na zewnątrz sklepu czeka przyjazny kot. Jak tylko nawiązałam kontakt wzrokowy, najpierw stawił się jeden kot, a potem pojawili się identyczni bracia i siostry, wszyscy pragnący suplementów! 🐈
Nowe super jedzenie, przyjazne koty i Mpesa - wszystko to dzieje się w Duka!
