Some people might enjoy waking up early and have all day for their purposes but I am not that person at all. There is nothing better than staying in bed until late afternoon and maybe having another snooze later as well. However, sometimes it's a good idea to make an effort to get something nice. Here's the story...
A client of mine wanted to get photos of Malahide for a wedding present because the bride was brought up there. It took me a while to decide what would be the best way to get a nice picture of the sea. Also it took me much longer to force myself to get up early! Would you wake up at 5am knowing that there are other options and it's only your free will to do that? I was extremely lucky that day! Sunny days in Ireland are rarer than hens' teeth.
It was a quite peaceful morning, no people to be seen and the boats on the water were still. There is something magical about a sunrise when everything around you slowly wakes up to jump into everyday routine few minutes later. Looking at the new burning sun you start to believe again that the new day means new chances and hope.
I was delighted by the end result of my early morning trip and, more important, the client was happy with the photos!
