These photos were taken with my new iPhone during the annual fair in Nongkhai during the second week of March every year. The fair was in March when the weather was very hot and humid. Luckily it rain for a day which helped in cooling down the hot cement roads. I liked to walk around this fair early in the morning before the heat became unbearable. Most people preferred to come shopping in late afternoon. This year the vendors were complaining that the atmosphere was rather quiet and people were not willing to spend money like last year. That was not a good sign for the economy. I found my old acquaintance, they remembered me from last year so they all gave me quite a good reduction.
รูปภาพกล้วยไม้นี้ เราใช้กล้องไอโฟนลองถ่ายมาดูเล่น ตอนนั้นพึ่งได้ไอโฟนมาจึงต้องเรียนรู้อยู่นาน นี่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงานประจำปีของหนองคาย ซึ่งจะจัดทุกปีในสัปดาห์ที่สองของเดือนมีนาคม อากาศจะร้อนอบอ้าวมาก ไม่น่าเดินตลาดเลย โชคดีมีฝนตกลงมาสองวันช่วยพอคลายความร้อนของถนนได้บ้าง เราชอบไปเดินเล่นดูต้นไม้ตอนเช้า ก่อนที่จะร้อนและรถติด คนส่วนใหญ่ชอบมาตอนบ่ายแก่ๆ หลังเลิกงาน ปีนี้คนขายของบ่นกันว่า เงียบมากและคนไม่ค่อยยอมซื้อของกันเหมือนปีก่อน เราโชคดีได้เจอคนรู้จักมาแต่ปีก่อน และคุยกันถูกคอ ทำให้ได้ลดราคามากเป็นพิเศษโดยไม่ต้องต่อราคาเลย ทำให้ได้ต้นไม้มาเต็มหลังรถในวันนั้น
