A very modern and practical approach to practicing mindfulness, meditation and compassion through the teaching of Thay or Thich Nhat Hanh.
The first time I met him in Thailand I was too young to appreciate the depth of Buddhism and his special approach to teaching Buddhism. I was still a very inquisitive teenager looking for answers concerning life and its meaning. Through time, I found out that Thay had managed to spread his teaching far and wide; many retreat centers have also been established in many countries with increasing followers.
I had the opportunity to visit his community in France, near Troyes. That was a special time of good fun and learning Zen meditation. My destiny has taken me to another country to meet another great teacher and various encounters with some well known gurus at that time. Looking back, I think I have been very lucky to be led into unique circles of people whereby I could learn and absorb wisdom or knowledge along the way.
So, it has been a long journey of meeting spiritually unique people. But one has to stand on one's own feet, so I have always been very independent and find the truth for myself. Some friends would say that I am extremely stubborn; I just practice 'letting go' and 'non-attachment' quite often, that's all!
Wishing you peace, good health and prosperity.
Cheers.
