I absolutely love living in Sacramento! Being an artist, I really appreciate living in a community that constantly supports local artists. Within the last two years, Sacramento has invited and commissioned over 100 artists to install huge art installations in abandoned warehouses and hotels for a month before these places are demolished. What a great way to repurpose a location that is not currently being used for anything.

This last event was called Art Street and it took place in a huge abandoned warehouse. It was free for the public to tour, and inside, it was filled with so much beautiful art and creativity. I am so grateful that I got to witness and see such powerful artwork. Here are a couple photos I took of the art inside. Of course,
