El dia de hoy vengo con otro lindo proyecto de confecciones textiles, en esta ocasion un lindo crop top para niñas de 4-6años.

✨ Despite the country's electricity situation and the daily grind in every home, we can always find time to do what we love and fill our hearts with joy. In my case, sewing is one of those things.
For this new project, I made the most of every ribbon and scrap of fabric. At first glance, I envisioned a fresh, short, and summery design. The satin fabric was already beautiful, and it was going to stand out with any design. I had created this particular design before, but with a different style of sleeves.
For its execution, I drew inspiration from several ideas on my favorite app, Pinterest.
Pese a la situación que afronta el pais con el fluido eléctrico, el cansancio del dia a dia en cada hogar, siempre se puede sacar provecho para hacer lo que tanto nos gusta y llenar asi de alegria el corazon, en mi caso la costura es una de ellas.
Pues para este nuevo proyecto aproveche al maximo cada liston o recorte de tela. A simple vista me imagine un diseño fresco, corto y veraniego. El tejido satinado, ya de por si, era una belleza, y con cualquier diseño iba a destacar.
Este diseño en particular ya lo habia creado antes, pero con otro estilo de mangas. Para su ejecución tome inspiracion de varias ideas de mi app favorita Pinterest.

✨ I started by taking the two main pieces of the top, the front and back, and hemming the top and bottom edges of each. I made a small strip of the same fabric to gather the front piece and create a sort of bow. For the back piece, I sewed elastic in, stretching it well as I sewed it to the fabric. This resulted in both pieces of my top being nicely structured.

Comence tomando las dos piezas principales del top, trasero y delantero para hacer los dobladillos en la parte de arriba y abajo de cada pieza. Haciendo un pequeño liston de la misma tela para fruncir el delantero y simular una especie de lazo.
En el caso de la pieza trasera, le coloque cos elásticos, estirandolos bien a medida que iba uniéndose a la tela. Quedando bien estructurada ambas piezas de mi top.

✨ Next, I joined both pieces with a French seam, keeping the seam allowances hidden on the inside, thus preventing the stitch from unraveling.

Seguidamente uni ambas piezas con una costura francesa, quedando los margenes de costuras ocultos por la parte interna, evitando asi que se deshile la puntada.

✨️ For the sleeves, follow the same process: join with a French seam and hem the pieces, making the top hem wider than the bottom hem so that elastic can be threaded through. Once adjusted and cut to the width of the hand, attach them to the top at the sides.

Para las mangas realice el mismo proceso, uni con una costura francesa y realice los dobladillos, haciendo el de la parte superior mas ancho que la de la parte inferior, de manera tal, que pudiese pasar un elástico por dentro.
Ya ajustados y graduados al ancho de la mano, lo uni al top por los lateriales.
