Today I want to share another fanart practice piece inspired by the futuristic and mystical vibe of the HOLOZING universe. This artwork focuses on a soft cyber aesthetic mixed with glowing colors and a calm atmosphere. I really wanted the character to feel gentle, elegant, and slightly mysterious at the same time. 💙
For this piece, I experimented a lot with lighting, skin tones, and color layering while trying to keep the original sketch feeling alive and expressive.
🎨 Art Process
✏️ 1. Sketch & Lineart
I started with a rough sketch to build the pose and composition. After that, I refined the lines while keeping some loose strokes to preserve the natural feeling of the drawing.
🎨 2. Base Colors
Next, I added flat colors for the skin, hair, outfit, and accessories. I chose cool cyan tones combined with darker colors to create a futuristic mood.
🌈 3. Shading & Lighting
Soft shadows were added to give the face and body more depth. I also used glowing highlights on the hair and outfit to create a cyber-inspired lighting effect.
✨ 4. Details & Effects
After rendering the main parts, I added blush tones, eye highlights, glow effects, and reflections on the suit to make the artwork feel more vibrant.
🌤️ 5. Background
Finally, I added a soft outdoor background with light clouds and trees to contrast the futuristic outfit with a peaceful atmosphere.
