This time I spent some time at the V&A Waterfront...
....and fell in love with the mountain all over again... Table Mountain is older than the Andes, the Alps, the Rocky's and the Himalayas!
I also love that the ocean is such an intimate part of the city...
The built environment is also quite curious when you're in the right frame of mind for it...

The tall building on the left, for instance, used to be a grain silo. It's now been converted into a museum for contemporary art. You can read more about the history of the silo on this Industrial Heritage site curated by David Worth, Phd.
