I am an artist and it's a big problem to find a good canvas for my paintings. And In this post I want to share with you the way that I create a canvas with a good quality.
I use, stretcher, nails and a building material called a superdiffusion membrane. I will explain why this particular material: firstly, it does not let moisture pass to the reverse side, in the second it has a very pleasant relief.
The stretcher's dimension is 60x40 cm. When I cut my material I add to this dimension about 7 cm from each side for bending it. Cut such square from each corner.

It's imortant! To nail the material from the middle of stretcher it gives better tension.
How I understand that it is enough to nail the canvas it's simple. I slap on it, if it is stretched elastically, then the sound will be like from a drum. I like this part the sound tells me that the job make great and it is time to create paintings
