Blessed day NeedleWorkMonday friends, I hope you are having a very creative week. We are on the verge of the Christmas holidays and that is why today I am sharing with you my first Christmas project. It is about some pot holders made with grannys, this time two grannys with a christmas flower in the center.

I made these pot holders as a gift for the mother of a very good friend of mine, who is a very kind lady. This lady is always in charge of preparing the desserts that we enjoy in our meetings with our group of friends. As she likes cooking very much, I thought it would be a nice detail to give her these pot holders as a Christmas gift.

This model of pot holder has a very simple process, you only have to knit two square grannys with the Christmas flower in the center. This time I made a granny with a flower motif for the front and a unicolor granny for the back. Then join the two squares with low stitches in red and make a small handle to serve as pendants.

Although I'm not the most Christmas-spirited person you can say, I really like to knit using this typical Christmas color combination. It is also very nice to knit to give a gift to a loved one, because handmade gifts are always well received.
