If there is a sudden epidemic in our world, we are terrified all over the world and try to be as aware as possible. Proof of this is the ongoing coronavirus epidemic. The epidemic has claimed countless lives and affected countless people. Again, many people have recovered.
We are so terrified of this epidemic! Not so in other cases. But many people in the world are being affected by air pollution every day! We are not panicking about that. Maybe there are some environmental movements from time to time or there is talk of environmental awareness on Environment Day but then we forget again.
The only source of our survival is oxygen. Which we get from the atmosphere. But the atmosphere is getting polluted due to air pollution. The amount of carbon-di-oxide instead of oxygen is increasing. Which is a lightning signal for our near future.
Air pollution is more prevalent in urban areas than in rural areas. Our world is now in the race for development. And for that development they are using various harmful substances as fuel. Also, the air is constantly being polluted due to various industries. Especially in some cities, it is seen that there is black smoke. For example, when you go to Dhaka city, you can see many pictures of air pollution. A long time ago I saw in a news in a newspaper that a quantity of lead was found in the air of Dhaka city. Which is really unfortunate news.
Also long ago I saw in the news of the newspaper the picture of air pollution in some cities of China and some cities of India including Delhi. Of course I saw that fresh air was being sold in a few cities. Institutions have even been built for fresh air. How many people are suffering from various complex problems including Hapani as a result of air pollution.
And children and the elderly are the most affected by this air pollution. Even the average life expectancy of many people is declining due to air pollution alone. In fact, the whole climate is being hampered by air pollution. If there is air pollution in this way, one day it will be difficult for us to live in this world. Because if the temperature rises due to air pollution, once the ice melts, the countries that are as low as Bangladesh can sink one third. Moreover there can be extensive damage to crops. In other words, it will be more terrible than an epidemic. Because the effects of air pollution are global and its effects are slowly affecting us, we may not be aware of this. But if we don't think about it, living on this earth will one day be a threat to us or to our future generations. So we should be aware to make this world beautiful and save our air and make all people aware.
