I wrote this for a very precious little girl when she was born, and I felt this "mama bear" thing rise up in me in a way I had not previously felt. I felt incredibly protective, wanting to fight to keep her safe from a world that is often dangerous and cruel, but also capable of beauty.
It's off an old record I made that is no longer available to be purchased (although I am considering re-releasing an EP of some of the songs at some point).
I hope you enjoy/are touched by it.
