Being productive isn't hard, But at the same time, it can be hard on those days where we don't want to do anything.
Sometimes we have to force ourselves to do things, While other times we need to be smart about how we get ourselves moving.
Cut out The Unimportant
We always make our lists way too long. With good intention of course, If we can somehow finish everything we would have gotten a ton done. But at what expense? The fact that we can't even bring ourselves to get started! Cut out those things that you don't have to do, Even if it seems like something you want to get done. Sometimes we have to do those things on our list that will provide maximum benefit.
Rest When You Are Tired
We often push ourselves too hard; I feel this every day, I feel so exhausted I can't even function much at all. We often need to take breaks more regularly.
When you give your self-time to rest or take breaks, it boosts your productivity because then your brain is fully charged so you can get the job done. I often need this when I write blog posts. I get overwhelmed and tired, Then my brain isn't operating at peak performance, I am then stuck procrastinating. But when I rest, I'm less likely to procrastinate. Instead, I work on getting the job done.
Optimize Your Time
We waste a lot of time everyday; In ways, we may not even realize we are spending time. By being mindful of these things and making adjustments, we can prevent time from being lost. When you build habit stacks or plan things better, (Like doing all your errands at once). It makes it significantly easier to get things done because throughout the day you will gain a minute here and there.
Automate As Much As You Can
We can automate quite a bit when we look for ways to do it. There are a ton of apps, Programs, and even ideas to hire someone to do your work for you. If you have pantry items, you consume every month. Try and get a monthly delivery of those items, This can also be done with beauty products, Spices, etc.
All these repetitive tasks we do every day can easily be removed or delegated. When things are automated, we gradually save time, and it does add up.
Being productive often requires some thinking and planning but once we figure out the best way of going about the situation it can make a big difference in our lives.
