I go by the name Kechukwu, my close friends call me KC. I am an outlier and a nonconformist. Following the bandwagon is something I never liked and would never like.
I question things I don't understand.
Instead of following blindly, I rather ask and find the answer.
My life's philosophy is; "what goes around, comes around".
The thing I understand about life is that it is short, there is no time to play around. Anything I do, I do it like is theast thing I'll ever do.
I'm an interior designer by profession, a singer by hubby and a dancer by choice. I love dancing a lot. To me it's therapeutic and relieves me of stress. It is also a good way to channel my creative energy. I've done some professional dancing job, for some dance company in my country.
My mum used to tell me, "whatever you can do for free, and people enjoy and appreciate it. That thing is what you're called to do." I believe I was born to be a dancer. My life isn't about dancing though, I dabble in other things. Like I said earlier, I do interior design professionally. It is mentally challenging because I have to think and draw a lot if plan. It stretches my creative genius and I like it. I do a little bit of painting, I've not mastered it yet, I'm still learning.
I travel a lot; it's something I picked up while growing up. My father took us to different cities, just for visiting and I've not been able to drop it., I still travel to this day.
I believe traveling has its own way of educating an individual. It was on one of my trips, that I had the opportunity to meet . We talked at length and that was how steemit came up. He asked me, if I had heard of steemit, I said no and he started preaching like a preacher, telling me all about the Steem ecosystem. I was a bit reluctant to sign up, even after we parted ways, he kept calling and following me up, till I finally signed up.
But before I signed up, I did my homework; studied steemit for weeks until I was finally convinced.
What I saw, did more than convincing me; I was blown away. Steemit was more than amazing, I'm loving the platform. I'm really excited I'm already signed up.
I want to thank for sharing the goodness of steemit with me.
The #project20millionnaija campaign is doing a great job in trying to bring Nigerians into the Steem ecosystem.
I want to give a shout out to those steemians who were instrumental to my signing up on this platform ,
