Some of my favorite photos taken with my iPhone 7 Plus during our visit to Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We went to Disney in late December 2017, spending Christmas there!
Animal Kingdom is one of the smaller parks at Disney World, but it's very fascinating. You can do the whole park in a single day, giving you more time for Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
This is the Tree of Life, which is one of the first things you see upon entering Animal Kingdom. According to the Disney World website:
Celebrating all living creatures, this iconic centerpiece is the symbol of Disney’s Animal Kingdom park.

Inside the tree is a theater where you can see "It's Tough to Be a Bug!" an 8-minute 3D film featuring characters from Disney/Pixar's A Bugs Life.
The park is divided into different countries, with each section offering food, attractions, etc from each country. We traveled to the "Africa" section for the Festival of the Lion King show.
As you can see, each section is designed to look like it was taken right out of the country it is representing. This is a building reminiscent of an African restaurant.
Also while in Africa, we took the Kilimanjaro Safari. This open-air vehicle takes us through an African savanna, complete with exotic animals you'd find roaming the lands of this country.
I took many pictures of the animals on this tour, but many didn't come out great. Since the vehicle could only stop momentarily to keep the ride moving, I did the best I could! These shots were the ones that I liked the best after our visit.
I have LOTS more pictures to share from our trip to Disney World, look for them in upcoming posts!
