At our family dinner, I couldn't take my eyes off Iris. I spoke with her dad privately. I showed him a 3-carat diamond ring I'd bought.
He grinned "This is huge, Sean."
"It’s bug repellent,” I dead-panned. "She's mine."
"You have my blessing."
