I just have this little concern about our community.
What is the purpose of being here in Steemit?
Do the likes really matter?
Do the views bring you dollars?
Is Steemit is like a contest?
Is there any award for the first?
Do huge likes and views really mean it is a valuable post?
Although, I appreciate them if get it on my post
The likes, the comments and the views
Perhaps it could show me where to improve
But it doesn't matter to me anymore
It makes no sense if it doesn't bless someone
I want to be remembered for a better tomorrow
I want to be known for helping your business grow
I want to use my views to change the people's perception about Africa
To tell foreigners about good things in Nigeria and some other countries.
We are not scammers
We are real hustlers
I want to help someone achieve profitability in his business
I don't anyone to earn less
I want to help build a good future for humanity
Eradicate all disparities
Damn all the likes
If I can't touch any life
A post could be meaningless and still go viral
Someone with an influence could engage to make it viral
Yes we need that online presence
But if you only need it for likes and views, what's the essence?
Let's share value
That will change me and you
The world is sick
Let's be its doctor and heal
