Happy Valentine's Day, everyone. Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I wanted to tell you that in February, for Valentine's Day, I did something really nice with my boyfriend. I had the idea to buy some canvases and paints and spend an afternoon doing art.
That’s why I had bought the supplies months earlier and kept them stored away, waiting for the perfect moment to use them. It turned out that on February 14th, I was going to be traveling because an unexpected opportunity came up. So, I made plans with my boyfriend and went a week earlier, on Friday, February 13th.
I brought the supplies to work, and when we left, we went to a nearby park for our date. I brought a blanket to spread out on the grass and some snacks to share while we got inspired.
Although I had told Diego to research the drawing he wanted to paint so we could get a head start, we both skipped that part and started looking for ideas once we arrived.
Since it was my first time doing this, I looked for references for something simple on TikTok. And that’s where I found the design I painted. I won’t deny it—at first it was hard because I had to draw the trees and couldn’t control the thickness of the lines. However, step by step, I got the hang of it and became more confident in my painting.
I think doing different activities as a couple is fun. I enjoyed this experience with Diego and spending some quality time together. At the end of the afternoon, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

Feliz día para todos. Bienvenidos a mi pequeño espacio en internet. Les cuento que en febrero, para el día de los enamorados, tuve una actividad bonita con mi novio. A mi se me ocurrio la idea de comprar unos lienzos, unas pinturas y tener una tarde de arte.
Es por eso, que meses antes había comprado las cosas y las tenía guardadas para esperar el momento ideal para usarlas. Resulta, que para el 14 de febrero yo iba a estar viajando porque me salió una oportunidad inesperada. Entonces, me organice con mi novio y fui un viernes antes, el 13 de febrero.
Yo lleve los materiales al trabajo y cuando salimos. Fuimos a un parque cercano para nuestra cita. Yo lleve un mantel para colocarlo en la grama y unos snacks para compartir mientras nos inspirabamos.
Aunque le había dicho a Diego que investigara sobre el dibujo que quería pintar para tener adelantado el trabajo. Ambos obviamos esta parte y comenzamos a buscar al llegar.
Como era la primera vez que yo hacía esto, busque referencias de algo sencillo en Tik Tok. Y allí fue donde encontré el diseño que pinte. No lo voy a negar, al principio fue dificil, porque tenía que hacer los arboles y no controlaba la medida del trazo, sin embargo, paso a paso, fui agarrando el hilo y mayor soltura al pintar.
Me aprece que hacer actividades diferentes en pareja es divertido. Me gustó vivir esta experiencia con Deigo y pasar un rato diferente. Al final de la tarde disfrutamos de un lindo atardecer.
